‘Real or unreal – does it make a difference?’
Mixed Reality Environments

(2 of 5)

Work process:

In a first step, the pupils construct real 3D objects and make short video clips of them. This is done with the help of LEGO-Mindstorms Vision Command hardware and software

Creating soft plastics(li, avi 2 KB) and "The Mobile Phone" (re, avi 1,5 KB)

In a second step, a physical object (spider) was digitally extended with the help of the microcomputer RCX, a sensor, two small bulbs and sound.
At the same time, the pupils constructed and digitalised (scanned) holographs. The programmes Teddy and Cameleon (or Alice Paint) were used to draw and colour in 3D objects.
